International Journal of Mathematics Teaching and Interdisciplinary Practices (IJMTIP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes original research focusing on classroom-based, teacher-led practices in mathematics teaching, as well as interdisciplinary studies that explore the connections between mathematics education and other fields such as science, engineering, technology, arts, and social sciences.

The journal welcomes reflective practice reports, action research, pedagogical innovations, and collaborative studies that bridge theory and practice in mathematics teaching. Additionally, it encourages contributions that examine interdisciplinary approaches, integrated curricula, and cross-subject projects involving mathematics.

IJMTIP aims to provide a collaborative platform for mathematics teachers, teacher educators, researchers, and practitioner-scholars to share their insights, challenges, and achievements in both traditional and cross-disciplinary educational contexts.

IJMTIP Vol. 1, Issue 1 Is Now Online

2026-01-29

The first issue of IJMTIP is now published, featuring studies on AI-supported resources, visual/narrative-based instruction, attention and learning in classrooms, and technology-enhanced mathematical modeling.

Vol. 1 No. 2 (2026)

We are pleased to present Volume 1, Issue 2 of the International Journal of Mathematics Teaching and Interdisciplinary Practices. The eight studies in this issue address current topics including artificial intelligence, dynamic geometry, digital and narrative-based games, mathematical reasoning, problem posing, multiple representations, and school-based learning environments.

The articles examine the quality of GeoGebra activities, students’ attitudes toward artificial intelligence, the contribution of games to engagement and problem solving, preservice teachers’ use of ChatGPT in activity design, and ways of connecting mathematics with everyday life. We hope these studies will contribute to mathematics education research and classroom practice.

We sincerely thank the authors for their valuable contributions and the reviewers for their rigorous and constructive evaluations.
